A 'club' in name only, hotel guests and members of the public can dine in BRASSERIE MAX, the hotel's restaurant & bar and then see the 'film of the week'. The movie will vary from a classic to a latest release. AFTERNOON TEA or a two course DINNER with a glass of premium wine and the movie costs £35 per person. Excludes service charge. The film starts at 8pm.

19th May - IN DARKNESS
In Darkness is a World War II drama about the touching true story of Leopold Soha who saves 12 Jewish refugees from certain death in Nazi-occupied Polish city. Soha, a thief risks his own life and harbours the persecuted group in the sewers of Lvov for 14 months. Directed by Agnieszka Holland.

26th May - BLACKTHORN
Legend of the Wild West, outlaw Butch Cassidy is living out his days in Bolivia under the name of James Blackthorn. When he decides he must meet his son for the very first time he embarks on a new adventure and quickly finds himself on a wild quest with a fellow cowboy and on the run from an ex-railroad enemy. Starring Sam Shepard and Eduardo Noriega.

2nd JUNE - SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN
Romantic comedy starring Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt. A Sheik from Yemen has a dream to create fly-fishing in his desert country. He seeks a consultant to find a fisheries expert to help make this a reality. To everyone else this seems impossible but the trio embark on the adventure regardless.

9th JUNE - DELICACY
Audrey Tautou stars in this charming romantic French comedy. A young happily married woman sadly loses her husband in a tragic accident. After a period of mourning she finds herself confronted by two new love prospects, her slick Parisian boss or a hedonistic Swedish co-worker. She decides to embark on a new relationship with one of them. In French with subtitles.

16th JUNE - ALBERT NOBBS
Touching drama starring Glen Close as Albert Nobbs. A woman living in 19th Century Ireland struggles to survive in a land where women are not equal. She decides to pose as a man in order to work as a butler in Dublin's finest hotel. All is going well until she meets a painter and has to find a way to ecape the lie she has been living.

17th JUNE - SENNA - FATHER'S DAY SPECIAL
An intimate documentary piecing together the life of legendary Formula 1 driver, Ayrton Senna who tragically died in 1994 at the hands of his sport.  It combines track and home footage and features other key drivers; Jackie Stewart, Nigel Mansell and Frank Williams.  It is a gripping and moving film that immortalizes its subject.

**Brasserie Max is celebrating Father's Day by serving a special Gentleman's High Tea, including mini fish and chips served with ale. Guests and their fathers can then move to the state-of-the-art screening room to watch Senna at 3.30pm, £19.50 per person. Alternatively, guests can enjoy a special 3 course Father's Day lunch before the screening, including roast sirloin with yorkshire pudding, £25 per person.

23rd JUNE - DARK SHADOWS
Tim Burton directs an all-star cast in the vampire comedy of the year. Johnny Depp plays Barnabus Collins, an imprisoned vampire for the 1700s who is set free and returns to his ancestral home to find it inhabited by a dysfunctional 1970s Collins family.  As he tries to deal with over 200 years of change he is once again pitted against his former love, the evil witch Angelique Bouchard, played by Eva Green. Also starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Helena Bonham Carter.  

30th JUNE - 2 DAYS IN NEW YORK
French actress Julie Delphy stars in this comedy set in New York. Recently separated from the father of her child she is now in a new relationship with Mingus, played by Chris Rock. When her family come to visit she finds this, combined with Mingus's American background, and her upcoming photography exhibition all too much and an explosive turn of events ensues. This is the follow up to 2 Days in Paris.
